California Fine Wire not only produces wire, but we also provide a variety of services for wire. Our expertise (over 30 years of wire production and services) shows in the quality and value of the services we provide you. Annealing - Strand batch or vacuum annealing available. Our wire or yours, controlled and monitored process
  
Consulting - Assistance in filling your wire needs, regardless of the requirements. Specialist in analysis and fine tuning specifications for bonding wire.
  
Cutting & Straightening - Most metals and alloys from .0008 diameter. Lengths depend upon material. Deburring, pointing, radius or other special processing. Custom packaging available.
  
Drawing - Most metals and alloys to .00025". Our material or yours. Specialist in exotic and unusual alloys.
  
Enameling - From 105 o to 879 o C, sizes from .0004. Most metals and alloys certified to NEMA, military or customers specifications. Round, flat or square wire
  
Insulated Wire -     PTFE (TFE, FEP, PFA), PVC, nylon, glass, Kynar, ceramic, braid, Kapton, Solid or stranded wire. MIL-spec or customer's specification
  
Melting - Melting of Gold, Aluminum and other precious metals and alloys. Custom melting available for pure metals and alloys to customer specifications.
  
Particle Detection Wire - Ultra Finish and Electropolished. Gold plated (Aluminum, Be-Copper, and Tungsten). High resistance wire. Precision diameter, electrical and physical tolerance maintained.
  
Plating - Continuous (wire and ribbon) and barrel (pieces) plating. Includes Copper, Nickel, Tin, Tin-Lead, Silver, Gold. Custom Plating available upon request.
  
Rolling & Flattening - Most metals and alloys available from .00025" thick. Bare, insulated or plated. Flat wire, ribbon and square.
  
Special Processes - Includes swaging and Rod Mill facilities. Specialized cleaning services. Composite (clad) products manufactured to customer's specs. Bio-medical wire.
  
Spooling - Custom spooling to meet your specifications. Bonding wire, ribbon & braiding wire, your spool or ours. Single or multiple ends.
  
Testing - Laboratory and testing facilities to perform most chemical, electrical, physical and metallographic tests. Computerized test reports customized.
  
Thermocouple Wire - Thermocouple wire definitions, heat capabilities, temperature conversions, and datasheets.
