electroPlated wire

California Fine Wire Co. can perform both reel to reel plating for spools and barrel plating for cut wire pieces. We can electroplate copper, nickel, gold, silver, tin, or tin-lead onto wire made from numerous metals and alloys to provide a conductive, corrosion resistant, and/or solderable surface. Thicknesses and under-plating capabilities vary depending on the wire substrate, size, and metals to be electroplated. Our chemist and sales staff will be happy to work with you to produce the best wire for your application.

Our processes are controlled by our ISO 9001:2008 certified quality management system, and all materials can be certified to meet applicable REACH, DFARS, or RoHS requirements as requested. As a custom wire manufacturing facility, we are able to adapt to meet a wide range of production volumes - from low quantity specialty orders to high volume production orders.
