California Fine Wire is a family owned and family oriented business. The leader of 45 years was President and Co-founder, Michael A. Greenelsh. The California Fine Wire culture of excellence and commitment to satisfying customer needs was derived from the philosophy of Mr. Greenelsh - "always give the customer what they want" and "quality is job one."
After Michael A. Greenelsh retired, in September 2006, he became Chairman of the Board of Directors. In this role, he enjoys working with his two sons, Mike Warren Greenelsh and Rodney Greenelsh who have taken over as Principals of California Fine Wire and Precisions Metal Components. Each son has over twenty years of experience in virtually every capacity in the organization. Mike’s primary role is Plating Manager and Research and Development Manager. Rodney, with a background in engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, has a primary role as Director of Operations and Project Manager. The two sons, of Michael A. Greenelsh, bring a blend of skills and experience for the leadership of both companies.
Another part of the management team is Harlan Silva. Harlan supports Mike and Rodney as the manager of finance, administration and quality. Harlan has over 40 years of experience within California Fine Wire, providing a valuable role in the leadership of the organization. He is currently responsible for the implementation of new manufacturing software designed for improving operational efficiencies and cost accounting.
