In 1961 when California Fine Wire established operations in Grover Beach, CA, the Central Coast of California was relatively unknown. Today, the home of California Fine Wire is a bustling multi-cultural tourist destination for recreational and cultural activities.
Located midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles, California Fine Wire may be "off the beaten path" but it has access to excellent logistic support and the ability to reach destinations throughout the world in a short period of time. All incoming and outgoing shipments at California Fine Wire are via commercial carriers.
The California Fine Wire main location consists of a 5-building complex located on South Fourth Street, Grover Beach, CA. Wire drawing and enameling operations are located in what was the original California Fine Wire office building. An adjacent two-story building contains additional production facilities as well as the Administrative and Sales offices and our Quality Assurance Laboratory. Our Purchasing Department along with inventory that consists of over 10 thousand spools of wire is located in a building on the Northern border of the complex. The plating operation is located in a separate building on the South side that is equipped with modern environmental controls to insure compliance with the latest regulations. A total of about 40,000 square feet of space is fully utilized.
A few remote buildings, mainly used for equipment and material storage, are located less than two miles away.
