Customer service at California Fine Wire extends throughout our organization, including Quality, Testing and Production activities. Our customers are enabled to define the processing, testing and packaging that they need or desire for their products.
The following is a list of some custom services that have been performed at our customers’ request:
- Chemical or Ultrasonic Cleaning
- Shear testing of cut pieces
- Labeling of cut pieces to correlate with shear test result
- Reservation of a specific lot of material for an individual customer
- Custom drawing and annealing sequences
- Custom test reports of physical properties before and after processing, i.e. drawing, annealing, plating, etc.
- SPC reports for property measurements
- Implementation of a Special Processing Procedure (SPP) for a specific product or customer. SPP’s can identify specific pieces of equipment to be used as well as specific speeds, temperature, etc. SPP’s are controlled by California Fine Wire’s ISO 9001:2000 documentation process and audits.
- Special handling of product, such as, use of gloves and use of non-latex gloves.
- Special packaging materials or methods, including use of non-standard spools
- Product inspection under a microscope
- Drawing and processing of customer furnished wire of materials that California Fine Wire does not carry in inventory.
